- 1st stage: high-capacity 5 micron 10 in. polypropylene sediment filter, removes dust, particles, and rust, tested by independent third-party to meet NSF/ANSI standard
- 2nd stage: granular activated carbon (GAC) 5 micron 10 in. filter gets rid of unpleasant chlorine, tastes and odors, cloudiness and colors, tested by independent third-party to meet NSF/ANSI standard
- 3rd stage: carbon block (CTO) 5 micron 10 in. filter removes any residual chlorine, tastes and odors, compounding the pre-filters’ efficiency and extending the RO membrane’s life, tested by independent third-party to meet NSF/ANSI standard
- 4th stage – high rejection .0001 micron TFC reverse osmosis membrane — the heart of the RO system, produces drinking water at a rate of 100 Gal. per day
- 5th stage: total polishing inline post carbon filter removes any possible residual tastes and odors from the tank, tested by independent third-party to meet NSF/ANSI standard
- Booster pump: the pre installed booster pump brings low (under 45 PSI) incoming water pressure up to the optimal level for the reverse osmosis process
